Hi all,
I took delivery of my 210KW Select 77KW yesterday and have a question on the reversing camera. The picture on the moveable screen is very very small. It's almost like there is something covering the camera but looking at the camera I can't see anything obvious. Is anyone else's the same?
Capri Reversing Camara
Coming from a Tesla model 3, must say, very disappointed with the screen quality/resolution of the camera. Why Ford? This is not the most expensive part of the car.
Also I could drive 50 km backwards only by looking through the camera on my old tesla.
With this camera I’m even affraid to drive 5 meters.
Also in the dark it looks awful..

Mine is totally sunk in see attached picture. My local Trust Ford saying I've to authorise £180 for them to look at it. If they decide it's warranty then obviously they'll take the cost. But if they say it's been damaged then I've to take the cost! It's been like that since the car was delivered to me. It's not something you'd know if damaged when you sign for the car!
Might be worth un doing the two torx bolts - see if you just push the camera back out.
Looks like someone may have thought it was the boot release and pressed a little hard.
Personally i would want Ford to sort it for free as a goodwill gesture. After all, they need to get their new EVs out on the roads and any negative opinions will always get out into the wider customer base.
Hope you get it sorted in any case.
